Abstract

In the historiosophical concept of the history of Russia of V. O. Kliuchevski, the first period of the history of the Russian people is the Dnieper one. During this period, the history of Poland and Russian-Polish relations in the view of the scientist were not particularly significant for the history of Russia. The history of Poland was considered in connection with the history of Kievan Rus. It was considered in the following problems: the resettlement of the Slavs, the relations of two neighboring peoples, and a comparison of the social and state system. The historical polonistics of V. O. Kliuchevski of this period did not become the subject of separate studies, and in this context it is considered for the first time.
