Abstract

The article discusses the main aspects of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance signed by the Polish People’s Republic and the GDR in 1977, which was one of the most important documents forming the relations between the two countries. The author also presents the areas of cooperation between these states, both in politics and in the field of economics and public relations.
