Abstract

The article attempts to disclose the reasons for the low susceptibility to innovation by hired personnel. As
a reason, the dominance of the economic basis was revealed, being expressed in the uneven distribution of income among
different categories of the population, an increase in the level of stratification of the population by social and professional
statuses. They lead to both an increase in the potential for social tension and the impossibility of increasing the
susceptibility to innovation due to the “overload” of the employee secondary employment. It is proposed to consider
humanization of labor as one of the main directions of socialization of the economy, as an alternative form of regulation
of economic development and as a tool to increase the susceptibility to innovation as its regular consequence.

The article was prepared as part of research on the state order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of
the Russian Federation No. 075-00326-19-00 of 12/27/2018.
