Abstract

Nikolai Nikolaevich Lyubovich, a well-known Russian historian, who was mainly engaged in historical Slavic
and polonistic studies. The article reflects the development of historical polonistics. This issue in the historical heritage of
N. N. Lyubovitch did not become the subject of separate studies, and it is considered in this context for the first time.

The article is devoted to the life of N. N. Lubovicch is a historian, a professor at the University of Warsaw, the
founder of the historical and philological faculty of Rostov University, an active Russian public figure and a member of a
number of scientific associations. The article reflects many creative works and achievements of the historian as a researcher
of reformations in Poland, a medievalist, an author of studies on the methodology of history.
