Abstract

The high quality of medical services is a key component of the effective development of the healthcare system and
a guarantee of the successful realization of the right of citizens to health care. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive
analysis of legislation that establishes criteria for the quality of medical services, including for the development of breakthrough
areas of medicine. The paper identifies the main indicators of the category under study and identifies the factors that determine
the quality of medical services. As a result, the authors identified the main areas of legal regulation that require updating and
adjustment in order to gradually introduce a personalized approach to the medical field, and substantiate the need to expand the
private law regulation of relations arising in connection with the implementation of this approach.
