Abstract

The article deals with issues related to dismantling activities at industrial enterprises in the Soviet zone of occupation of
Germany and Austria. It is noted that the dismantled industrial equipment was the most important component of reparation
deliveries to the Soviet Union. According to the final results, the article makes the conclusion that the USSR, including the
BSSR, having received the legal right to recover reparations from Germany and its allies, organized at a rather high level the
measures to dismantle industrial equipment, that allowed to use it in the shortest time in the reconstruction of the destroyed
national economy of the country.
