Abstract

Continuous changes in the external and internal conditions of the development of organizations lead to problems in
the functioning of management systems of various types of socio-economic and social systems (state, region, enterprises of
various industries, etc.). In a market economy, the main task of system research is to identify problems and their practical
solution to ensure the development of enterprises and society as a whole. The article explores modern management concepts
to improve the efficiency of enterprises. Based on the results of the analysis of the most popular management concepts, the
main parameters of their comparison are determined. The features of using of a particular approach to management are
considered and the potentially necessary conditions for creating a universal management model for enterprises of various
organizational and legal forms and activities are assessed. The study provides important guidelines for finding ways to
increase the competitiveness of enterprises and, ultimately, improve the final financial results of their activities.
