Abstract

The social policy of a country is a set of specific measures that are aimed at regulating social relations between subjects that are different in their social status. This approach to understanding social policy is also called the functional approach and, in fact, it considers social policy as an activity to regulate relations of equality or inequality in society. It makes it possible to look for inequality in the economic positions of individuals in relation to property rights, labor and working conditions, distribution of income and consumption, social insurance and health care, and to find the sources of
these inequalities and their social justification or unjustification.
