Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the participation of the Polish Army in the implementation of government youth policy on the territory of Western Belarus in the interwar period. This issue is considered in a regional
context, using the example of the activity of the units of Baranovichi garrison. It is noted that this activity was rather multifaceted. The article describes the structure of the interwar garrison “Baranovichi”, as well as the main directions of
the activity of power structures among the youth: military training of the younger generation, support and organization of sports, guardianship over pro-governmental youth unions. It is concluded that the Polish authorities assigned the army an important role in the implementation of their youth policy. When conducting a study of the activities of the units of the Polish army from Baranovichi garrison, a wide range of documentary sources was used, some of them are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
