RIGHT TO REQUEST, SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS,APPEAL OF LOCAL COUNCIL DEPUTY AS A SIGNIFICANT INSTRUMENTOF LOCAL COLLEGIATE REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY

Abstract

The peculiarities and procedure for the exercise of control powers of deputies of local Councils of Deputies, exercised in such democratic forms as the right to request, the right to question, suggestions and comments, and the right to
appeal, have been analysed. Prospects for further improvement of the legal regulation of public relations in this area of the legal position of local deputies have been determined, conceptual vectors for strengthening the representative function of local Councils of Deputies as a significant instrument of the local collegial representative democracy have been
identified, including taking into account the possible partial testing of the positive experience of foreign countries in the area under study.
