Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the historical backgrounds for inclusion in the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus of
a norm, that allows the application of the rules of the contract of sale and donation to rental relations, as well as the analysis of the
norms of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus, fixing the possibility of applying these rules to rental relations at the present stage.
Based on the study, the author identified the possibility for implementing this norm in practice, as well as formulated proposals aimed
at improving civil legislation.
