INTERNATIONAL APPROACHES TO MANAGING REHABILITATION AND ABILITATION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article examines disability as a complex problem of health impairment and the need for medical care, as well as limitations in daily activities, requiring specific measures for the rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities and the creation of the necessary conditions for their integration into the country's socioeconomic space. International approaches to addressing this issue are analyzed, including ensuring the rights and equal opportunities for people with disabilities, developing rehabilitation, inclusive employment, and social integration. Based on a synthesis of international norms, a conceptual framework for a management mechanism for the rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities is formulated, including the goal, principles, and functions of management.
