SOME ASPECTS OF THE BELARUSIAN ECONOMY DIGITALIZATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the digital economy role and digitalization process in the context of the national economy formation. The key aspects of digital transformation are considered, including the digital infrastructure development, the information and communication technology’s introduction and their business processes and public administration impact. Using the example of the Republic of Belarus, it analyses the digitalization achievements and problems, such as cybersecurity, digital inequality and dependence on foreign technologies. The article proposes measures of digital ecosystem improvement, including infrastructure modernization, personnel training and strengthening the regulatory framework. It identifies the need for an integrated approach to increase the country's competitiveness in the global digital transformation context.
