METHODOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF LOSSES FROM DISABILITIES OF THE POPULATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of losses from population disability. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and generalization of existing points of view on the problem under study, two methodological approaches to assessing damage from disability are identified, the advantages and limitations of their practical application are formulated. A detailed description of the medical, demographic, economic and social consequences of population disability is provided, based on the concept of human potential. Taking into account the specifics of the national statistical accounting system, methodological recommendations for a comprehensive assessment of losses from population disability are proposed.
