DYNAMICS OF DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN SYSTEM OF REHABILITATION OF THE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the development patterns of the modern system of rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The evolution of organizational forms of rehabilitation is shown: church-parish charity, public guardianship, state care. The essence of socio-cultural, medical-pedagogical and socio-economic factors that determined the emergence of rehabilitation of the sick and disabled is revealed. A conclusion is made about the need to expand the directions of state policy in the field of rehabilitation by including measures of socio-economic, organizational, pedagogical, legal nature aimed at creating conditions for the reproduction of the human potential of people with disabilities, their adaptation and integration into the socio-economic space of the country.
