Abstract

The article analyzes various theoretical aspects of the economic category “human capital” from the point of view
of various authors, systematizes the main approaches to its definition. The analysis of system-forming indicators of
human capital was carried out. It has been revealed that the realization of the principles of sustainable development of
the national economy requires full consideration of human capital in the national wealth of the country. Understanding
of the essence and significance of structural elements of human capital is important for sustainable development of the
state in the era of informatization of the economy.
