Abstract

The purpose of the work is a comparative analysis of the directions of state family policy in the Republic of
Belarus and in the Russian Federation in order to identify points of contact due to the convergence of the legislation of
the two countries and to comprehend approaches to the formation of a strategy for managing state family policy in the
Republic of Belarus that meets current realities. The results of the study were obtained on the basis of general scientific
methods of cognition, as well as special legal methods (comparative legal and formal legal). The results obtained
contain proposals aimed at improving the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
