Abstract

The methodology for studying the stress-strain state of the wire elements of the rotor of a grinding machine is
described. Both inertial forces and gravity are taken into account. It is shown that the latter can be neglected.
The technique is described for determining the interaction force of the wire element of the rotor of a grinding
machine with a particle of ground material. The operating element of the rotor is modeled by an elastic rod, and the
particle is modeled by a material point.
